Yes, Princeton. The oh-so-clever name I've given to my apartment. That's right, I finally moved out of my parents' house after living in that same room for over 23 years!

My apartment kicks ass. Considering that it's just me living here, it's plenty spacious, and I'm conveniently located at a point where I can drive a shorter distance to points of interest in Rockford.

I'm still working for Unisys, and it also kicks ass. I'm happy to say that after 7+ years, I can say "I like my job!" My pay is excellent. I can buy nice things now! Like how I spent $500 on a Wii, a few games and accessories, and I really didn't dent my wallet.

Oh, on the subject of my job kicking ass, let me put it this way: I fulfilled the American Dream this past week! Our call volume was so low, I worked only ONE DAY, and I got paid for ALL FIVE WEEKDAYS. I got paid to sleep in, I got paid to play God of War II, I got paid to eat cereal while watching the thursday morning thunderstorm, I got paid to go shop for new video games! DAMN, THIS ROCKS.

So folks, life kicks ass AND freakin' rules! All I have left to do is find me a ladyfriend, and life is complete. Not doing so well on that of course, and it does drive me bonkers a lot, but the fact that everything else is going so well for me, I don't complain for very long. I have not felt this great in a long, long time.
